How long will it take you to build your home?

To get permits for new home construction, survey has to be completed, set of drawings with stamp of engineer. This all can be completed within period of 3 month. The actual time of construction averages from 5 to 8 month. And that includes all deliveries, corrections of errors, inspections, and all problems builder faces. If you want to manage this project by yourself, usually time doubles and you can finish custom home within 2 years.
